Tactical Immersion Weekend

Day One
Tactical Training
Participants will take part in a 7-hour immersive tactical training experience led by Cecil Woods, Owner and Chief Instructor of On Point Defense Group and former U.S. Marine.
Training focuses on firearm safety, weapon handling, movement, command presence, and the real-world skills actors need to bring authenticity to tactical roles on screen.
No prior firearms or tactical experience is required, and all training weapons and equipment will be provided.
For safety purposes, no live ammunition will be used or fired by participants at any time during the actual training. Students will train exclusively with professional training replicas (blue guns and red guns) in a controlled environment.

Day TwoD
Professional Cinnematic Footage
Participants will film 2 professionally directed short scenes with other actors designed to showcase their casting type and newly developed tactical skills, resulting in high-quality footage for demo reels, submissions, and marketing materials.
Participants will receive 2 fully edited short scenes with an expected delivery time of no more than two weeks following the event.

Cecil Woods
Cecil Woods is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, licensed Texas private investigator, and firearms instructor with extensive experience training civilians, security professionals, and law enforcement personnel. As the founder of OnPoint Defense Group, he specializes in defensive firearms, tactical performance, executive protection, and situational awareness. Certified by USCCA, Strategic Weapons Academy of Texas, D.R.A.W. Academy, and TCOLE, Woods is known for delivering practical, real-world training that builds confidence, safety, and performance. He also consults on tactical firearm handling and movement for actors preparing for law enforcement and military roles, helping bring authenticity and professionalism to film and television productions.

Isaiah Washington
Isaiah Washington is an acclaimed actor, producer, director, author, and activist with a career spanning more than three decades. Best known for his iconic role as Dr. Preston Burke on ABC's Grey's Anatomy, he has also starred as Chancellor Thelonious Jaha on The 100 and Mayor Tydell Ruffin on STARZ's P-Valley. A NAACP Image Award and Screen Actors Guild Award winner, Washington has appeared alongside some of Hollywood's biggest stars and earned critical acclaim for his portrayal of John Allen Muhammad in Blue Caprice. He recently made his directorial debut with Corsicana, serving as director, producer, and co-writer while also portraying Bass Reeves, and stars in Oscar Shaw, now available on Amazon Prime Video.

Martin de Leon
Martin De Leon is an Emmy Award-winning and Emmy-nominated Director of Photography, director, producer, writer, and editor with more than 17 years of experience in the film and television industry. His work spans narrative features, documentaries, commercials, branded content, and music videos, collaborating with major networks and global brands including FOX, NBC, Mary Kay, and Ford.
Martin serves as the Director of Photography for the highly anticipated series The C.O.R.E. and is the creator of two original documentary series, Driven and Savor. Known for his cinematic storytelling and visual precision, he brings a creative vision and technical expertise that elevate every production from concept to screen.

Who is this weekend for?
Aspiring and sesoned actors who want to be authentic in tactical manuevers on camera.
Do I need prior firearms or tactical experience?
No. Prior firearms or tactical experience is not required. Training is designed to accommodate both beginners and experienced participants, with instruction tailored to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Am I guaranteed a spot?
Space is intentionally limited to ensure a high-quality experience for everyone. Once available spots are filled, registration will close. You must be able to pass a backgrond check. Fill out the registration form and wait to hear back about confirmation of spot and information on how to pay.
How do I pay?
Once your registration form has been recieved, we will review and contact you about payment. Zelle is preferred.
Will live ammunition be used?
No. Live ammunition is strictly prohibited during all training and filming activities. Only approved training weapons, inert training aids, or designated non-live training equipment will be used under instructor supervision.
What should I wear for Day 1 training?
Participants should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate athletic or tactical-style clothing that allows for unrestricted movement. Closed-toe footwear with good traction is required. Additional recommendations may be provided before the event.
What wardrobe should I bring for Day 2 filming?
Wardrobe for Day two is based on each individual. Wardrobe guidance will be provided a least a week in advance. Participants will be expected to bring multiple outfits. Neutral colors and tactical-style clothing are recommended unless otherwise specified.
How many scenes will I receive footage from?
Participants can expect to receive footage from two scenes.
When will footage be delivered after the event?
Edited footage will be delivered within 2 weeks following the event. Participants will be notified if additional processing time is required.
How many participants are being accepted?
Enrollment is intentionally limited to maintain a high-quality training and filming experience. Participant capacity will be announced with each event and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Will actors receive all raw footage or only edited scenes?
Participants will receive professionally edited footage featuring their appearances. Raw production footage is generally not distributed due to production workflow, storage requirements, and editorial considerations.
Is lodging included for out-of-town actors?
Lodging is not included. Participants traveling from out of town are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
What age restrictions apply?
Participants must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise stated. Minors may only participate if explicitly permitted by the event and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with completed consent documentation.
Will participants receive a certificate of completion?
Yes. Participants who successfully complete the training on day one will receive a Certificate of Completion recognizing their participation in the program.
What equipment and weapons will be provided versus what participants should bring?
Training equipment and approved training weapons required for the program will be provided by the production. Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and footwear.
What is the refund or cancellation policy beyond the deposit?
Deposits are non-refundable and secure your reservation.
